EXLUMINA
Hi, I'm Kian Konrad Tajbakhsh, the Founder & CEO of Exlumina, a company dedicated to pioneering in the field of space technology and innovation. Born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, I've always been fascinated by the potential of technology to transform our world and beyond. My journey into the realm of technology and entrepreneurship began early, leading me to establish Exlumina with a vision to explore new frontiers in space and technology. My academic and professional background includes a role as a Student Researcher at Schülerforschungszentrum Hamburg and a stint as a Junior Pilot Trainer at DroneMasters Academy. I've also been fortunate enough to visit several iconic tech locations in the United States, including Apple Park and Google Plex, which have greatly inspired me. I'm currently pursuing the Harvard CS50 Introduction to Computer Science course to deepen my understanding of computer science. I hold a Pilot License A1/A3 from EASA, which has been instrumental in my drone-related projects and research. My dedication to innovation and entrepreneurship has been recognized through various honors and awards, including the StartUp-Teens Business Challenge and Jugend Forscht Regionalwettbewerb. I'm actively involved in several organizations, such as Y-Combinator StartUp School and StartUp-Teens, where I'm honing my skills and expanding my network. Throughout my journey, I've led and contributed to numerous projects ranging from the development of hybrid UAS technologies at Exlumina to exploring cloud seeding and advancing 3D printing techniques. I've also ventured into the world of NFTs with Axonpunk and tackled challenges in e-commerce and game development. My technical skills span a wide range of programming languages and design tools, including Python, Blender, and Unreal Engine. I'm also adept at 3D design, video editing, and engineering, which have been crucial in my project development and implementation. Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy techno music producing, DJing, and staying active through gym workouts, parkour, and calisthenics. I'm also passionate about sharing my journey and insights through vlogging on social media. I'm eager to continue pushing the boundaries of what's possible in technology and space exploration, and I look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals and organizations who share my passion for innovation and progress.
Projekt
Exlumina started as a student research project at the university hamburg. In march 2022. Then moved on since then, with the incooperation in August 2023. As a UG (Limited Liability) At the beginning the goal was to reach space with a rocket and then land it again. We won second place at “Jugend Forscht” a student competition in Germany and where also at the StartUp-Teens Business Challenge. With all the research and development going into the project. The commercial use developed. To use rockets as transport vehicles, but way faster. Even outperforming the Concorde. Reaching any point on earth in almost 30 minutes.
